February Hiking Pictures
The DeBows Pathfinders took a trip to Double Trouble State Park in Bayville, NJ on Saturday, February 10th. It was a cloudy, but warm February day, with temperatures in the 50’s. Some pictures taken during the hike can be viewed below. The next Pathfinders hike is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th. They will meet at the church at 10:00am and then go to Allaire State Park.
Ash Wednesday – Lent Begins
The Season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2018. DeBows will conduct an Ash Wednesday Service on this day at 10:00am. Lent is a season of forty days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday.
The last week of Lent is Holy Week, followed by Easter on Sunday, April 1, 2018. The worship schedule for Holy Week is as follows:
